We have two versions of Seam Allowance Additions:

Just attach the S (Purple), H (Green) or Q (Red) Addition to the edge of your Guidelines Ruler.

What they don't tell is those numbers are not exactly right.

As a result, we’ve been adding about 1/32” too much for Half
Square Triangles & 1/16” too much for Quarter Square Triangles.

That's why you have to trim your triangles down to match your squares.
