I have to tell you the Prep-Tool is one of the best tools I’ve ever used in quilting. I have designed a quilt with a pieced border. Trimming the triangles with this tool made putting those blocks together so simple. I was very impressed! I am including it in the instructions under Other Items. When I do the kits, it will be included in each one.

I also pieced some diamonds into Tumbling Blocks. They went together so nicely. I have some sewn up to show people how easy it is to make that block. I decided to use some of the fabric I have on hand to make a Tumbling Block quilt. I have enough fabric to make kits for that and will include the Prep Tool in those as well.

"..I'm embarrassed to admit that I've been quilting for fifteen years and have had trouble with flying geese the whole time, cutting off points when sewing the triangles together. You'd never believe I was a math major in college and have such trouble with the math of triangles in quilting! No more! I experimented with the Guidelines and now I'll tackle more half-square and even quarter-square projects without worry! Thank you for inventing this so-easy-to-use system."

"I absolutely love the Guidelines ruler and have told every quilter I know about it. I plan to ask Santa for the Prep Tool, Seam Allowance Attachments and any other goodie I hear about between now and Christmas."

"...Last night I spent a considerable amount of time on your website really reading through the instructions.  The information I needed was all there.  Well presented, easy to understand and thorough.  Thank you.

I am now using your (now mine) ruler and I am really pleased!  I have not used the finished shape guides yet.  Matter of fact, your ruler is so stable and easy to read, I have almost dispensed with the fabric guides (smile).

There is a very large and diverse family of different brands and styles of acrylic rulers on the wall of my design room. The money I would have saved had your product existed when I began quilting would buy a whole lot of cloth! I am using your ruler right now to cut a large assortment of strips for a scrap quilt and the wonderful thing I can report is LACK OF FATIGUE

The ruler really does not slide at all.  Very little pressure is needed to keep it in place.  Also, it really is easier for me to read.  Lack of strain on my left (rulerholding) hand and shoulder, coupled with the fact that my eyes aren't worn out trying to see the numbers and tick marks is what I hoped this ruler would do for me.  Wow!  Those benefits are enough for me to feel that my $$ were well spent!  Just wait until I get up to speed with the finished shape guides...I will be dangerous!

Thank you for a well designed product.  I hope you do well in the marketplace."

"Just wanted to let you know. I have been using the 6x24 ruler for several months and it is the BEST! I have lots of rulers, but I find myself reaching for yours because it really doesn't slip! I am so glad you came out with the 6x12, which I have just ordered."

"...Many thanks for the 6"x12" ruler and guide... I am delighted with it. This ruler is a perfect size and the guide for the material is a very good idea. Best wishes,"

"The more I use your ruler the more I love it. There's no way I'd want to be without it now and I still look forward to the day you make it in other sizes as well.

Yesterday I had to cut out a lot of HSTs for a baby quilt commission and the quickness, ease of use, and accuracy of the Guidelines ruler is sheer pleasure, besides which I had them all cut out and ready to sew in a fraction of the time I would spend with any other ruler!"

"Guidelines is a fantastic ruler, and I am looking forward to promoting it in Canada. I have been making samples for upcoming classes and have been using the Guidelines ruler. Not having to re-adjust every time makes Guidelines easy on 'Boomer'-aged eye.

Your web site is well done, informative and easy to navigate. I will be happy to promote this amazing tool."

"This is the best little tool I’ve come across in a long time. It truly is the RIght tool for marking a perfect 1/4” seam. It has these little raised edges that keep the tool ON the edge of the fabric.

These days I don’t have time to do a lot of sewing, but I’ve used it quite a bit, and it lives in my pencil holder, so it’s handy. I highly recommend this Prep Tool."
