Differences between Quilt Ruler Connector and Handle / Multi-Width Ruler Connector

We Have Two Types of Connectors for Regular Acrylic Rulers:

    Quilt Ruler Connector
    / Handle

    Sold out

    The Quilt Ruler Connector includes
a lip edge and alignment tabs.

    • 4 Suction Cups
    • Built-In Handle
    • Made of virtually unbreakable Polycarbonate

If the rulers are the same width, you want the lip edge.

The Lip Edge and Alignment Tabs make it
easy to accurately align two rulers that are the same width:

The Lip Edge is only on one side of the Connector.

To use it as a handle, get the Lip Edge off
your ruler, so everything is level and the suction cups
on the Connector stay better on your ruler.

    Open Hand Handle /
    Multi-Width Ruler Connector

    Sold out

The Multi-Width Ruler Connector does not
have a lip edge or alignment tabs.

    • 4 Suction Cups
    • Built-In Handle
    • Made of virtually unbreakable Polycarbonate

If the rulers are different widths, you don't want the lip edge.

    It’s easy to attach
    the Open Hand Handle

at any position that is comfortable for you.

You can use either Connector to make a Corner Square to square up.

Square up, using the Quilt Ruler Connector:

When you connect two rulers as a corner square, the Lip-Edge and Alignment tabs on the Quilt Ruler Connector make it easier to get it perfectly aligned on the first ruler.

Then you can butt the second ruler up to the edge of the first ruler and the Lip-Edge so it’s easier to get them both at a perfect right angle.

Square up, using the Handle/Multi-Width Ruler Connector:

It's easier with the Lip Edge and Alignment Tabs on the Quilt Ruler Connector but if you are more careful you can connect two rulers as a corner square with the Multi-Width Connector.

But you do have to be more careful that the entire edge of the second ruler is butted up against the edge of the first ruler so it’s at a perfect right angle.
